Will my belongings be safe?
Security is our #1 priority. To help keep your belongings safe and secure, the manager lives in Alameda Point. Our facility is fully fenced with an electric gate accessible only by using your personal authorized code which is recorded in our office.
ARE DRIVE-UP UNITS AVAILABLE?
Yes. All of our units are drive-up units that allow you to load and unload your storage items directly from your vehicle into your unit.
Each unit has a roll-up door. We have wide aisles to allow trucks to back-up to every unit.
WHAT IS A ROLL-UP DOOR?
Roll-up doors are accessed by sliding a latch and lifting the door upward, similar to the motion of a manual garage door. Roll-up doors allow you to maximize the usage of your space. All of our units have roll-up doors. You may park right next to your unit.
WHY DO YOU CHARGE LESS RENT THAN YOUR COMPETITORS?
We do not have lighting inside each unit and are not open after dark. If these features are not necessary to you, then you can save money by storing your goods with us. Furthermore, after more than 30 years of business, we have paid off our loans. We pass these savings on to our tenants.
CAN I STORE A CAR, CAMPER, RV, BOAT, TRUCK, ATV OR MOTORCYCLE?
Yes. We have a locked fenced area specifically for storage of vehicles, RV’s, trailers, and boats. You may store a motorcycle, ATV or bicycle inside your unit or outside in our fenced vehicle storage lot.

WHAT SIZE UNIT SHOULD I RENT?
Please visit our
unit sizes and prices page. All units are 8½ feet tall. If you don't know what size to rent, our staff can help you if you describe the items you want to store.
HOW DO I LOCK MY UNIT?
There is a latch on your roll-up door where you put your lock. You can purchase a new lock at our facility or you may provide your own lock.

CAN I RESERVE A SPACE?
Yes. You can reserve online or by
calling our office
. We give you the flexibility to book a reservation up to 30 days in advance to help you plan ahead. For reservations more than 30 days in advance, call our office, and we may be able to accommodate you. Click here to make a

DO YOU OFFER BOXES AND PACKING SUPPLIES?
We offer locks and mattress covers. We suggest you store merchandise in boxes or cover with plastic covers.

DO YOU ACCEPT COMMERCIAL DELIVERIES?
Yes. We accept deliveries which would fit in your unit from Fed Ex, UPS, USPS and other delivery companies and from professional movers. We will contact you when your package is delivered so you may put it in your unit.
HOW CAN I MAKE A PAYMENT?
Payments can be processed on our website, just click the button on the top right and by mail or in person at our office. You may also arrange to have your payment automatically deducted from your credit card or bank account. We accept Visa, Discover and MasterCard.
HOW CAN I INSURE MY GOODS?
You can buy insurance from any company. To make this easier, Mini-Co. Insurance Company has agreed to allow our tenants to purchase insurance by filling out a form at our office. We are not licensed to sell insurance. We highly recommend you purchase insurance to protect your items.
DO I NEED A LONG CONTRACT?
No. We offer month to month leases. We offer a
discount
for leases of at least 3 months – you get your third month free. That is a huge savings.
HOW MUCH NOTICE DO I NEED TO GIVE TO MOVE OUT?
You can move out any time you want. Make sure you notify us when you are moving out to avoid being charged for the following month. The rent is paid by the month using the anniversary date of your move-in. If you have paid several months in advance, we will refund your unused full month(s). Full details on the vacating policy will be provided for you at the time of move-in.

You can access your unit and vehicle seven days per week as follows:
November-February:
- Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-6 p.m.
- Saturday-Sunday, 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
March and April:
- Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-6 p.m.
- Saturday-Sunday, 8 a.m.-7p.m.
May-October:
- Monday-Friday, 6 a.m.-8 p.m.
- Saturday-Sunday, 8 a.m.-7p.m.
Our office hours are seven days per week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. We are closed on holidays - if it is a day after a holiday, please call first to make sure we are open.
